To get a high score make sure u upgrade the planet and your ship whenever you can.Also try to use rockets when you can because they can give you more points.Make sure you always keep a close eye on the edges of the screen so u spot enemies sooner.When you can try and shoot enemies as quickly as possibly to give yourself enough time to reload.

here is a tip everytime u mis u lose big points so if you shoot 3 bulluts at a time u won t get a high score those lvls .

can some one explane al items u can choose for ur planet i don t get it what they do ?

This is just my interpretation of how to succeed in stage 1. I am no expert, and my high is only 4.6m. But this seemed to work...
I'm posting strat for stage 1.

Stage 1
-------

The key to succeeding in this stage is to have patience, most of all.
Do not try to rack on points early in the level, because it will deprive you of tens of thousands of points at the end of the stage. The points are in the bombs.
What you need to do is set up a perimeter of bombs 1 - 2 inches from Earth by eliminating the enemies that cross the imaginary line.
If they drop bombs, leave them undetonated, but take out the crates so they don't get in the way but just be careful not to detonate any
of the bombs in the process (especially the yellow ones that spew in all directions).
Wait until you have around 2-3 red bombs and it would be nice if they had some yellows or orange bombs around them.
If you can, get some yellow bombs in corners + near earth itself.
Wait until the screen fills with enemies again, then find a bomb that you would think would detonate all the others.
The idea is to create a chain reaction so that all the bombs on the screen will blow up silmuntaneously and clear all the enemies.

I managed to get over 200,000 in the first level doing this. Hope this helps.
