I don't know many people who have played astroids from the 80s so here r my questions :

1.Have you plaed the ORIGINAL astroids?
2.Were you a geek,nerd or dork? (tell the truth)
3.Did you play it in the 80s or was it on your gameboy or computer or some classic games convention or whatever?
4.Do you think the new one is good?

yes i played the original.no i wasnt a geek.i played it on my atari when i was a kid.and NO this version sucks

i agree with kittybaby###, ths version is sort of, in a nice way, smelling of poo.  I played the original on my dad's atari, and im no geek.

i also agree, i played this game in the arcades when i was younger and i'm not a geek, nerd, or dork and this version is worse than the original

I've played the original one on some other site. Can't remember where. I agree with everyone that it is better than this one.

erm im not sure iv played several versions lol one of them must have been the origanal lmfao but i liked them all this ones harder than most of them though

yes i played the original on my atari, no i was not a geek, nerd or dork, and this game sucks compared to asteroids!!

I've played the original Asteroids on my, once brand new, Atari 2600.
HELL'S YEAH!!
Actually, I didn't much care for Asteroids.
I preferred Yar's Revenge. hA!
Matter of fact, I still have my original Atari 2600 and all the games. heheh
I just need new joysticks for it, the ones I have have been trashed smashed and overly used through the years. heheh 

I have played the original Asteroids.
I did'nt have many friends, so maybe I was considered a dork.
It was in the 80's on my beloved Atari 2600.  I have also played more recently on arcade consoles and using MAME. 
This version is not good.  I have played many superior Flash and Shockwave versions.

i have played the original. i am all 3. bought my atari 2600  at a tagsale for 2 dolors. and finaly......... look down!

I have played the original, but never really cared for it. I totally enjoyed the Intellavision version which was called Astro-Smash. I still have my old Intellavision with all my old games. I was not a geek or nerd, just love to play games. Always have and always will. I enjoy my computer games, but still play Nintendo & PS2 as well as online games. Keeps me young!

8i used to play the original. When I was little. This one hurts my arms. If I could use my mouse it would be a lot better.

Well this really tells my age, but I used to play the original Asteroids at the arcade!  It was great ...... this one, not so much.

I played Asteroids 20+ years ago. Cool game, great sound. This game on GRAB does not compare by a long shot. I do not like this game. Put me in front of the original arcade machine and I will be happy.

Now I own one!  Original standupversion!

i have played the original. 1.it was way better than this one. 2.no i wasnt a geek. 3.we played it on the arcade game.4. It was one of the best games of the 80s. Try to find it online youll see a huge difference
