I've been playing this game for years and eventually found out that you can score higher by playing your cards on the first pile. Of course that's if a blue card is there or if you put up a wild card then followed by blue ones. You don't get that much when playing on the other three piles.

another tip is to always try and put the lightning cards on the other lightning cards when ever you can.

The scoring system IN GAME is equal to the card you had laid down. For instance:
Yellow 3 = 3 points
Yellow 13 = 13 points
Lightning card upon lightning card = x10 points
Blue 13 on a blue card = 130 points instead of 13....thats the difference in how to increase scoring. The more stacks you get, the greater your points!
Used the blue on blue tip and this is what I came up with after two games....more detail when I can figure it out!

Ok Ive been trying to figure this out for a little while now and I havn't checked these results a 2nd time yet but i believe this is how it works.
Ok if you haven't checked the other message marked "i need help" on the revious page I'll re-explain the scoring system to you:
The points a card will give you is determined by the face value of the card. What I mean by this is-If you put a regular card down with the number 1 the card will be worth 1 point a 2=2points a 3=3 points etc.
If you put a lighting card down on a regular card and DO NOT put another lightning card on top of it it also will be worth whatever number is on the card- again 1=1 point
If you put lightning cards on top of one another the value of the card is multiplied by 10. Therefore 1x10=10 2x10=20 3x10=30 so on and so forth.
However and this may be a little hard to understand because im not sure the best way to explain it (if you do not understand what i mean you can send me a message and i'll try to re-explain it)
To get the most points place your lightning cards only if the left column. This is the column closest to the flip pile.
If you do this the cards face value will no longer be multiplied by 10 it will be multiplied by 100.
Example: Ill use the score that I got
I placed a 9,10,11,&12 down on the left pile. The total amount of points i got for this play was: 3,309 oso like i said the face value of the card is now multiplied by 100 all except for the first card that you placed down. In this case my first card was the 9 so th eresults look like this
9x1= 9
10x100=1000
11x100=1100
12x100=1200
+__________
3309 points total
ok well i hope this helps sorry i know it was probly confusing Good Luck on the most addictive game ever.
