If you're having trouble completing a puzzle with only a few (or even one) tile left, then try this: Your best bet is to get all four corners filled in as soon as the opportunity comes up. Once all 4 corners are covered the rest should be a lot easier. Let me know if this has helped you, o.k.?

kolohegives a really good tip here.  I would add that I have found that if I get the two bottom corners first, then both sides including top corners, that the rest kind of fills itself in.  On the hidden jewel boards, I first try to uncover the hidden jewels, and then fill in bottom-most squares and move up and fill in what isn't golden after I've done the lowest parts.  When I do those things, I hardly ever run out of moves before I complete the board--- however, I still run out of time sometimes!

hey joythree, thanks! I also forgot to mention that I find the bottom corners  especially the left one is usually the ones I go for first. Seems like that bottom left one is the hardest.

Hi guys! I don't game too much but I got addicted to Jewel Quest. I could only get so far. I got irritated..I need to know..is there a end to this game? Do you ever find the cache of jewels? I got mad and took it off my computer..but if there is a point to it and a reward I will go back..So I need to know do you ever finish? Thanks.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, Zyperiris!  In the full game that you download, yes you get somewhere: MANY more boards and they only get harder and more interesting.  The game here seems to endlessly repeat itself and you only reveal the gold in the statue, not the diamonds on the teeth that are shown in the download game and on other game boards.  Yahoo.com and iwin.com are each a little different than what is here.  Ofcourse, you won't have the wonderful people that you have here!! LOL
Good luck, I guess the only limit here, is how much time you are willing to put into it---assuming you can clear each board.
Joy

Yep, the home game is a lot different, but I'm stuck there too.  Those blanket y blank black things that make you do the spaces over again get in the way on the corners and everywhere else, plus you have less time on those boards.
I'm glad to hear there is a catch of jewels.  I've gone around the pattern of boards now twice, and they only get more difficult to solve.
But..
When I get aggrivated I get away from the computer.
LOL That'll teach it.  LOL
Play on Questers.

I found that trying to take out all the bottom ones first helps out alot.... the top ones then seem to take care of themselfs....
