I was in a Tower Blaster tournament today, where a player was very upset, calling other players cheaters for using the strategy where you never leave level one, but build the tower 41-50, minus at least one number, switching your highest number for the missing number, never winning nor losing until the end of the tournament to maximize your high score and win the tourney. The tournament was disrupted by anger and bickering, very unfortunate. Because I love tournaments, am very competitive, and enjoy playing with smart, fun and kind people, I wrote to grab for a judgment call. I asked if this strategy was indeed legitimate and if not, were they working to eliminate this "loop hole". I am waiting for the "official" answer, and will post it here when I receive it if they don't post it first, since we all know grab is watching, LOL.

I know enzfyr, very unfortunate. I personally cannot play in Tower Blaster tourneys until this issue is resolved simply because I hate to see innocent players insulted and the entire tourney disrupted because one individual persists in vocalizing their opinion repeatedly and using profanity in an open forum. As soon as I received grabs response, I promise to post it here unless they address this issue in a post themselves.

Since this did happen again, I won't be playing in the Tower Blaster tourneys until the matter is resolved unless I see that the individual creating havoc in the tournament room is not there. I realize I could keep my chat closed and my mouth shut, but I always feel compelled to defend my tourney buddies from bullies, especially the young people and new players, so I can't remain silent if I am in the tournament. I don't want to add to the chaos in the tournament room, so for this reason, I will refrain from playing in the tournament altogether until a ruling is forthcoming, which will hopefully silence the offensive individual. Best of luck to all my tower blaster tourney buddies!

Hello All,
I assisted one of the staff members (possibly your email) with this question yesterday...
In a Tower Blaster tournament today, a player continually disrupted the tourney complaining that the leaders were cheating. The strategy she was complaining about is on the message boards for Tower Blaster. It involves staying on level one and racking up points by manipulating 41-50 numbers so that one doesn't win the level, but continues to rack up points and loses only in the last few minutes of the tournament. I believe this is a legitimate strategy as do many of the tournament players. This particular player made a mess of todays 9am tournament by arguing and insulting players who use this strategy, calling them cheaters and losers. My question is: is this indeed a legitimate strategy and if not, is grab working on eliminating this strategy? There are two parts in this question.
1. Is if it is a legit strategy?
My answer is YES. Please show anyone who is disruptive my post.
2. What to do if a player gets abusive or disruptive in the tourneys?
Please take Firestarters advice.
