I dont understand about the insurance or whatever either.

Well, I'm no expert, but I'll tell you what I do. (I win often). I never take insurance, always double down on 11, split any pairs under 9, if I have like a 13 - I stay if the dealer shows under 7 - he will bust himself most of the time. Other than that, I just go with my gut lol.

color=Lime]The insurance is when the dealer shows a Ace and they do this so if the dealer has a blackjack you get to keep half your money you bet[/color]
