But how do you get the maximum Skill Points aka Bonus Points after each round?  Someone somewhere said:  "Don't finish the level until you have enough points for the 50.000 pts. bonus."

Try to avoid using the "red" single blocks- if you don't get enough multiple row combos on a level they will not replenish as quickly.
Also, I've noticed that time is a big factor in attaining the 50k point bonus available. Sometimes you don't get the final "brown" piece to complete a board, but try to be patient without throwing out too many pieces (this adds to the time with penalties)
