I'm unable to play at this game !!!!! 
I don't know if it's only me or if i do it all wrong but i can't even finishe the first level ! I'm getting angry at this game ! Have any tips or advise for me please ? Need help for this one !

You must find the matching tile (there are 2 of each type)in the time given.
You can re-shuffle or change the set up (click re-shuffle in the lower left)
pictures of seasons and plants are woth more pts. (a bird chirpping sound identifies this)
numbers, shapes are not any extra pts.
the TILES must NOT be blocked on the sides by another tile or Covered up in a stack.
to remove the tiles move the mouse and click to highlight(orange) the tile and then do the same with it matching one. BEST of LUCK

1. try starting to remove the tiles from the highest piles from the ones on the ends
2. don't pick one tile and try matching it; scan the board to find matches
3.  if you prefer one layout to another, the select the one to like better
4.  don't spend tooo much time trying to match... shuffle often
it will get easier to 'identify' matches once you play a few times .... good luck and have fun

Dear Laurie,

I know how frustrated you must feel, but take it easy.

Try choosing the really obvious tiles first and choose more than one when scanning for matches.

Start with the top tiles and the ones to your left and right upper and lower corners and don't worry about the time.

Keep playing and you'll see how much fun it is and how much better you will get at it.

Sometimes chat doesn't load for me either, you just have to keep on trying. I'm not that bothered but if you really wanna chat then just keep trying

I think you have to be a little psychic to play this game.

Laurie, don't let it stress you if you can't clear the board at each level.  don't forget to try hitting the scramble option once or twice...alot of times that helps. You get a bonus if you actually completely clear a layout so it is worth trying.  But sometimes you have to go ahead and give up on a particular layout and use the scramble to a new layout to move on...it doesn't lose your points, you just keep on accumulating from where you left off.

I think it's hard...

All goode advice the only thing i have to add is when you get down to few a few tiles make sure they are not piled on top otherwise the shuffle button does not help it just reshuffles without giving you any solution to end.  Keep trying it took a few attempts to finsihed a level now i average at least 3 per turn good luckxx

Hi Lady Laurie,

Have you played any other Mahjong games before this? Getting familiar with the pieces that match can be tricky. If you're unfamiliar with the tiles, it's just a matter of learning which designs match. I sort of think of it as a suits like decks of cards. Instead of hearts, spades, etc, you have bamboo, circles,and charachters.You have to match number and 'suit'. Then you have specialty cards. The 'winds" have N, S, E, W, & F. you have to match the letters on those. The flowers/trees just have to match any other flower/tree tiles. then the dragons go with dragons & the dagger(or whatever the red thing is) goes with another dagger

If identifying matching pieces is not the problem, then it's probably just a matter of getting comfortable with the layouts. I work on getting matches for the outermost pieces 1st, but I don't spend a lot of time "looking". I sort of scan the board for matching pieces, trying to work from the outer edges.

i usually turn the chat off in this game as it breaks my concentration. LOL
