Think of the corners of a rectangle( does not have to be a square) all yo have to do is find the four corners all the same colour. So I look for either the top, bottom or side 2 corners first, then line up the opposite edge. Hope this helps a little.

One game that I played I got the four squares and they all had the bonus in it.  Got almost 500 points for just that one.

How do you find side squares? I just don't get this game at all.

Squares are four sides of equal length.
Rectangles are two sides shorter than the other two sides. Squares and rectangles both also have 90° angles.

I have hit every square and cannot even score anything but 0 and nothing moves.

These instructions are clear as mud!!!!!

I JUST DON'T GET IT ! ! !

essie, try watching the little demo at the beginning.  You do not have to find sides, just four corners (they have to be the same color and 90 degrees like you mentioned).

Thank you very much for your help. I have watched the little preview but it's too fast for me and I think I'll have to sit this game out.

Thank you for your effort & Have a Nice Weekend.

This is a cool game. No board is the same, and it all depends where all the blocks match

essie, try to think of it like this. . .
You have a big dayplanner/calendar on your desk.
As days go by, more and more paperwork and pens and such pile up on the dayplanner.
You remember that you have an important appointment sometime today, but do not know the time.
So, you must pull up the dayplanner.
To do this, you must find each of its corners.
They will all be the same color, of course.
Once you get all four corners, it will be removed and then you will just have to concentrate on getting all of the other stuff off your desk. . .

FFFFFFFFFF      = no squares

FFFFFFFFFF
BBBBBBBB

= one F square
FF

ooWoooWoo
ZdTdddTddR
FFWFFIWFF

= one W square
(Look where each W is, see how
they make four corners?  Click
each and that square is complete.)

Here you have a g square
gg

and a less obvious u square
uorou

Remember, just ignore everything between and inside the corners.  Just focus on finding four corners.  As you mentioned, they must be at ninety degree angles.  The squares/rectangles can be any size.

Thank you mushiedotcom. You make more sense to me than any of the others that are posted. You have a lovely Easter Weekend as well. Thank you again for putting it in perspective so it's a little more understandable to me, anyways.
