I have been able to clear the stars off every level up till here.  I cant figure out how to do it!  Anyone know how???

Here's how I do it (but doc can probably give you a higher scoring way):
Get the red cube first, leaving the purple under the structure until you line up a blue cube. 
Then get the purple allowing you to shoot thru to the caramel colored one.
Once you get the caramel, shoot a cube other than green, then a green and you can use lift cubes thereafter.
