I just started playing this game. Have played gold miner many times. So where is the goal?

In Easter Eggin' the level goes up to Level 20

its up in the left hand corner of your screen it has an "egg meter"

I know what you mean. Although all of the "miner" games are similar, they are really different in one major respect. Valentiner and Eastereggin do not tell you how many points you need to pass a level. In short, you can see a visual representation of your progress, but no exactly how many points you need to progress to the next level.
