I was on level 12 and 5 fish required.  There were never 5 of the same kind of fish in the water.  How can u win?  This has happend before with this game.  Makes me want to quit playing.

on level 12 sharks appear. if you need 5 fish then there will be 5 sharks. concentrate on catching only sharks.on this level if you need 7 fish there will be 7 sharks but you need to catch them as quickly as possible.

On this level if more than 5 are required I always go for the blue fish, because you will run out of time trying for 6 or 7 sharks. If 5 or under you will have time to catch that many sharks.

pick one kind of fish at the beginning of the level, I generally go for the white ones, they will appear one or two at a time.

A friend of mine told me get as many fish as possible of course, 1st 3 levels, buy length / strength / length back & forth, then buy nothing again until level 9, then nothing again until just before level 12 purple/white/blue fish are good the purple fish do stop, then u should have enough for level 13 to reach the bottom & get the lobster or the brown fish.  Hope this helps, I can't get past level 14, lol. P.S. if you don't get at least 14 fish on the 1st level start over.

I get enough fish from the 1st level for  the 10 for fish for the length... then I pick that ... level 2 ..I can usually get about 17 fish for this level so here are my 15 fish that I need ... keep going on the fish 20..then 25 and then 30 ....
never mind any more length... but keep in mind when you need the 6 or 7 fish ... I pick up 3 or 4 other fish and then work on the type I am going to get for my total ... I find that the purple ones come up faster on the screen than any others ... so if I need 7 -- I watch for the purple ones... after I get to the level for the sharks are ... again sometimes that level is only 3 or 4 fish so it does not really matter... but then I try to get as many as I possibly can as now I need to work on the length of my line ... next fish total of 14 .. then 18 and so
on .... I have played this way for quite awhile and seems to work just about all the time for me
to win the game...
I like the level where you need only 2 fish ... you can really rake in the total of these ... one white, one blue, one white, one orange, one white and so on.... sometimes I can get 20 fish here...gl to you all ... hope this helps you out some ....

When you catch 1 of those kind of fish, and want 2 stik wt it,  catch 1, and another of tht kind will pop up from the side of the screen. Hope this helps with ur question. ;^)

if your line is strong enough for sharks..go for the purple ones. even though they are a bit harder to catch then most, i find that one always comes out to replace the ones that you catch.

Actually, this game has not been refined or perfected.  There absolutely are games in which the number of fish required never come into play at all.  To me, this is a major glitch in the game, itself, and it's frustrating, especially in the higher levels.  I haven't played for a long time due to the myriad of bugs in this game that need to be fixed.  I'm just starting again but, in the past, I've scored in the 100's of 1,000's.  It is a rare occasion we can score this high, however, because of the not enough fish problem during fluke games, as well as the fact that not all the fish we catch are counted (particularly the last ones).  This is a great game, one of the best, if the creators would only finish it.  I don't think it would take much for them to do so.  It's a real shame there are so many flukes in this game.
