These are just a few things that some other people told me and that I've figured out that have really helped to get me into the "Top Scores" list, as well as just getting me to finish the game 99.9999999% of the time.
*First off, use the right and left arrow keys in the first second after you launch if it doesn't look like it's going to hit what you want. It will retract, giving you a better chance to score.
*Don't spend money until the 5th level at least. You don't need to at all, since you really only have to get a couple hundred points per level up until then. If time is priced under $10, then it's not a terrible idea, but still not necessary. It will help you in the later levels when you really need it...and storing up money is more useful in the end anyway since whatever you have doubles if you finish the game.
*I've found setting smaller goals works...ideally you want to get to 5,000 pts. by level 8, but it's possible to get there by level 6 if you get lots of combos and golden eggs. Similarly, you want to get to 10,000 pts. by level 13.
* Levels 4 & 11: Don't buy anything for level 4 (unless time or bunny ears are 1 or 2 dollars), but it's always helpful to get ears for level 11. It's not worth it to get chicks unless they're really cheap because they only are in one of 3 possible types for this level.
*Level 5: buy time if it's not too expensive. Not totally necessary, but if it's cheap, it's worth it. (Same as level 12, but it's more crucial to buy time on 12 as you have to get more points.) Bunny ears and Chicks are helpful on these levels as well, but it's hard to guess when you'll need them. Only buy them if they're not expensive.
*Levels 6 & 13: time is always a good idea, but you never need chicks. One in 3 possibilities for this level is helped by bunny ears.
*Levels 7 & 14: CHICKS CHICKS CHICKS. Time is helpful as well--especially on the level that has the row of white eggs on top, but it's more beneficial to get the money bag in that row, then hit the bomb in the row, hit the next bomb to get rid of the rocks, then go for the other money bags and red eggs. The other 2 types on this level are really helped by chicks.
*Levels 8, 15, & 18: Always buy bunny ears. There is at least one crow on each type of this level--one of which has tons of them. Time is useful too.
*Levels 9, 16, & 19: TIME TIME TIME. Buy lots of time. Nothing else.
*Levels 10, 17, & 20: Tricky to guess, but chicks are great if they're cheap. Time is always a good idea. All 3 types of this level are so different from one another, it's kind-of a crap shoot.

thank you from another addict, some i had allready figured out but not all you gave me some hints i just about finish all games about 90 percent of the time but the scores im trying to get higher my average is like 18,000"s and i have scored 24, a few times your tips will help me i believe thanks ill give it a try if they ever get it working again four days and its still not working i either have body parts or no body lol i keep going in and checking, so i go back to gold miner or cubis my other addict games lol jett

This is one of my fave games, I usually finish all of the levels and end up with 20k or more. I buy time at every opportunity(as long as it doesn't bust my bankroll!),even on the lower levels. Getting extra points when possible is always a good thing! I've seen your name in the room a lot, you are GOOD!!!!!!!

Thank you ever so much for the tips on this game. It is one of my favorites and when I complete all 20 levels I feel like I have really accomplished something. Don't have the high scores you have, but this old grandmother really enjoys the game. Maybe now I can improve my scores.

I just read your tips and I first played this on myspace before they got rid of their game section. Thanks for the information, it will definitely come in handy...I do already watch when and what I purchase, but having your reassurance to what I'm already doing gives me hope I will top my highest score of 28,000 (on myspace), here, I think it is 24,000.

I hadn't played this game in a long time before this week. your tips took me from dying out at level 9-15 to finishing the game within an hour. THANKS!

I followed all these tips and for the first time I made it all the way to the 20th level and beat the game! Before, I never even made it past level 11 and that was even hard for me.
Thanks for posting this! Now this game is even more addicting. LOL!
